Mlimani Safaris operates mostly in Tanzania & Kenya but also organizes and does safaris in other East Africa countries of Uganda & Rwanda mostly to see gorillas and do water rafting in river Nile at Jinja-Uganda. We offer tailor made safaris for solo traveler, small group, large group, Student tours, private packages, incentives etc. and we do camping, hotel/lodge & tented camps safaris; for budget, mid, high & top end class accommodations. “Mlimani” is a Swahili word means “on the mountain” or “between the mountains”, which we chose because of the location Arusha city nestled within mountain area were located Mount Meru [4,565m] the Tanzania’s second highest mountain and Mt Kilimanjaro [5,895m] the roof of Africa located just two hours drive from Arusha city. Also the famous National Parks are sited on the highlands [mountains] region within Tanzania Northern circuit and the company founders born around the mountain, hence “Mlimani Safaris” means Safaris on, or between the mountains!!!
